description of its purpose and a rating critique.

Consulting, Education, Training and Therapy Services
Angels in Autism’s programs include consulting services
(includes reports, evaluations, and home program development, in-home
habilitation training (ABA and Discreet Trial Teaching), trained personnel
for in-home habilitation, respite care, summer programs, training for large
or small groups, school district support, community-based intervention
services, workshops, seminars, and Equine Therapy. Rating: Good (if you can afford it). Angels in Autism is a business which charges fees for its services. |

The Arc of Tucson is a nonprofit organization serving persons with
developmental disabilities in For adults, services and supports may include preparation for employment,
help in finding a job, independent living skill training, leisure and
recreation activities and any other supports they need in order to live
independently in their own communities. Rating: Very good. A good resource for adult rights advocacy. |

Arizona Center for Disability Law The the power to investigate reports of abuse and neglect and
violations Provides information on legal rights. Represents individuals in
negotiations or in administrative proceedings and in court. Investigates abuse
and neglect. Brings litigation to remedy systemic problems. Provides technical assistance to groups and individuals on
disability-related legal issues. Rating: Excellent! This is a great resource for advocating for rights. |

Autism Society of Greater Tucson The Autism Society Greater Tucson chapter is an all-volunteer non-profit organization. Provides Wrightslaw training conferences,
Pilot Parents Leadership training, inclusion workshops, Applied Behavior
Analysis conferences, FRIEND Training program, a resource library, monthly
support group meetings, Sibshops, and preschool
play groups. Rating: Excellent! Lots of great services from a nationally known non-profit organization. |

The mission of Autism Speaks: Autism Speaks aims to bring the autism community together as one strong voice to urge the government and private sector to listen to our concerns and take action to address this urgent global health crisis. Autism Speaks provides many resources for families, advocacy help,
and research in the treatment of autism. Rating: Excellent. This organization is well-known and respected nationally. |

The PINS offer free resources and training to families, parent
organizations, educators, college students, service providers, and community
agencies. Rating: Very good! Great resource for resources, training, and consultation. |

Pilot Parents of Southern Arizona Pilot Parents of Southern Arizona provides encouragement and support
to families who have children with special needs so that their children can
reach their maximum potential within the family and society. Programs include peer-to-peer support, parent training and
information, the Partners in Policymaking training program, the Leadership
Education Advocacy Partnership program, Sibshop (A support group providing information to siblings of
children with special needs.), a library, and a quarterly newsletter. Rating: Very good. Sibshops are excellent for siblings of individuals with autism! |

Tucson Alliance for Autism (TAFA) is comprised of the The and Hearing Sciences (SLHS), Department.
TAFA provides evaluations for autism, speech/language/communication,
cognitive, academic, and behavioral issues. TAFA has programs for social thinking skills, healthy relationships,
vocation skills, and organizational skills. Tafa also has a library. Rating: Excellent! TAFA is the Southwest's only association featuring a partnership between the local University and Community dedicated to serving individuals with autism and their families. |
